Moneris (online gateway) for WooCommerce POS

Moneris is jointly owned by RBC and BMO. It processes roughly a third of all Canadian card transactions and is the merchant-account default for many Canadian small businesses. Most Canadian WooCommerce stores already have a Moneris relationship.

The Moneris WooCommerce plugin uses Moneris's hosted "Checkout" page. Oliver POS opens that page in the in-POS browser view when the cashier picks Moneris on the payment screen. The customer enters their card; Moneris processes, settles into the merchant's Canadian bank account, and Oliver records the WooCommerce order. There's no terminal partnership and no separate "Moneris Core" integration — Oliver simply rides on top of whatever the WooCommerce plugin already does.

The Moneris WooCommerce plugin also supports Interac Online for Canadian customers who prefer to pay directly from their bank. From the Oliver POS register, an Interac customer picks Interac Online inside the hosted Moneris page and authorises through their bank's online portal in the in-POS browser view.

Pick Moneris online at the Oliver POS if you're a Canadian WooCommerce merchant with an existing Moneris account — that's most Canadian SMBs. You keep your existing rates and bank-deposit relationship, and Oliver becomes the in-store software running on top.
