At Oliver POS, we do everything we can to ensure you are happy with your purchase, but in some instances, a consumer must return their order.
Items should be returned (to the address listed below) in the original packaging within 30 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price or part thereof by applying a credit to your original method of payment.
Please take note of the below:
- We will charge a 10% restocking fee for each item returned.
- The customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Therefore, shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer. The customer is also responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
- Only regular priced items may be refunded, custom orders may not be refunded.
We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at +1 833 662 0633 with details of the product and the defect. Oliver POS needs to be officially notified within 48hrs of receiving the product. You can send the item you consider defective to the address below.
Upon receipt of the returned product, we will complete an examination and notify you through email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product, however, shipment costs will be billed to the customer.

POS EQUIPMENT AGREEMENT
These terms apply to the purchase of Oliver POS hardware products. By placing an order for POS hardware, you accept and agree to the terms of this agreement.
Every effort is made to maintain sufficient stock of all the products we offer. Potential inventory shortages at our distributor may impact our ability to fulfill an order. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we are, for any reason, unable to fulfill the order requirements. If we are unable to fulfill an order, we will notify you by email.
Your order is shipped using a carrier that we have selected. Customers must absorb the shipping costs by the quote provided in the original invoice. Once you place your order, we will provide you with an estimated delivery time. Please allow 1-7 business days for processing. Every effort is made to facilitate the delivery of your order on time. After your order is processed and fulfilled, we will send you an email containing the order tracking number. Once your order is fulfilled and placed in the hands of our selected shipping carrier, we cannot guarantee any delivery date indicated by the carrier.
Returns and Refunds
You may return your hardware within 30 days of it being shipped to you, as long as it is in new condition and has the original packaging.
Please note that custom orders are non refundable.
No returns are accepted over 30 days. We only accept returns of the hardware we sell directly to you. If we suspect you’re abusing the return policy (for example by returning products on multiple occasions or on a seasonal basis), we reserve the right to refuse your return.
The warranty on replacement readers are based on the original units fulfillment date. A replacement reader does not extend the 1 year warranty.
The warranty only covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions, lightning, or natural disasters.
Limitation of Liability
Oliver POS does not accept liability for the purchase, use or return of POS hardware or other products beyond the remedies set forth herein, including but not limited to any liability for product not being available for use, lost profits, loss of business or for lost or corrupted data or software, or the provision of services and support.
