Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of Oliver POS. Please read it; if you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Last updated: 2026-05-18

These Terms form a binding agreement between you (or the business you represent) and Oliver POS. By signing up for or using the Oliver POS service you agree to these Terms.

Service description

Oliver POS is a software-as-a-service point-of-sale system that integrates with WooCommerce. The service includes the Oliver POS register apps, the Oliver Hub back office, and any first-party Oliver integrations installed through the marketplace.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for all activity under your account, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for paying your subscription on time.

Acceptable use

Don't use Oliver POS to: process payments for illegal goods or services; harass, deceive, or defraud anyone; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; scrape the service at high volume; or use it in a way that interferes with other merchants.

See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full breakdown.

Fees and billing

Subscription fees are charged in advance per the plan you choose (annual or lifetime). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly granted in writing. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; price changes do not affect prepaid lifetime plans.

Payment processing

If you use Oliver Pay or an integrated processor, separate processor terms apply. Oliver is not the processor; we pass payment data to the processor you select.

Termination

You can cancel at any time from the Hub. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your data is retained per the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid Oliver in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of St. John's, Newfoundland.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email and posted here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
