No. You pay Capillary's standard published pricing directly to Capillary. Oliver doesn't add any markup, charge extra fees per member or per redemption, or get in between the customer and the loyalty plugin.

How does Oliver POS open Capillary at the register?

It works the same way as opening a WooCommerce payment gateway. Oliver POS has an embedded in-POS browser view that loads the WooCommerce checkout (or the Capillary customer view, if available) with the shopper's WooCommerce customer ID already linked. Capillary recognises the customer, shows their points balance, available rewards, store credit, or wallet, and the cashier can apply redemptions as part of a normal sale.

Will the cashier be able to see the customer's Capillary balance and points at the register?

Yes. Oliver POS links the WooCommerce customer to the in-POS browser session (through email or phone lookup, or by creating a new customer card). So, when the Capillary WooCommerce plugin loads in the browser view, it already knows who the shopper is. The cashier can see the same balances, tiers, and rewards that the customer sees on their account page on the website — no separate POS-only loyalty database or manual ID lookup needed.

Do in-store sales earn and redeem Capillary points the same way as online sales?

Yes. Oliver POS records every register sale in WooCommerce as a standard order with the customer's details attached. The Capillary plugin then applies its standard earning rules to that order (like points per dollar, per product, tiered bonuses, etc.) and processes any redemptions the cashier applied at the counter. The shopper's Capillary balance updates in seconds, just like it would for an online checkout.
