Yes. Oliver POS links the WooCommerce customer to the in-POS browser session (through email or phone lookup, or by creating a new customer card). So, when the Talkable WooCommerce plugin loads in the browser view, it already knows who the shopper is. The cashier can see the same balances, tiers, and rewards that the customer sees on their account page on the website — no separate POS-only loyalty database or manual ID lookup needed.

Do in-store sales earn and redeem Talkable points the same way as online sales?

Yes. Oliver POS records every register sale in WooCommerce as a standard order with the customer's details attached. The Talkable plugin then applies its standard earning rules to that order (like points per dollar, per product, tiered bonuses, etc.) and processes any redemptions the cashier applied at the counter. The shopper's Talkable balance updates in seconds, just like it would for an online checkout.
