How to pair a new register with your store
Use this guide to pair a new register with your store so you can start ringing sales. All you need is your computer logged into your WordPress dashboard and the Oliver POS app open on your device.
Step 1: Generate your pairing code
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Navigate to the Oliver POS plugin and open your Outlets.
Select the outlet where you want to add a register, then click to add a new station.
A QR code will appear on your screen. Leave this open.
Step 2: Scan to pair a new register
Open the Oliver POS app on your iPad, iPhone, or Android device.
Choose the option to pair a new register.
Point your device's camera at the QR code on your computer screen.
The app will show your store's name and ask you to confirm. Tap to approve, and your register is ready to ring sales.
No camera? Enter the code manually
If you are using a fixed-mount register or a device without a working camera, you can skip the QR code entirely.
Look directly below the QR code on your computer screen.
Find the 8-character pairing key.
Type this key directly into the Oliver POS app to connect your register manually.
