How Razorpay works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce
Razorpay is the largest online payment platform in India, supporting UPI, cards, net-banking, wallets, and EMI on one integration. Oliver POS opens Razorpay's hosted checkout inside the in-POS browser view.
Razorpay in India
Razorpay is the leading online payment provider in India, used by hundreds of thousands of Indian businesses across ecommerce, SaaS, and retail. It aggregates UPI (India's ubiquitous bank-to-bank app), cards (Visa/Mastercard/RuPay), net-banking, mobile wallets (Paytm), and EMI options on a single merchant account.
Razorpay in the Oliver POS browser view
The Razorpay WooCommerce plugin opens Razorpay's hosted checkout. From the Oliver register, the cashier picks Razorpay; Oliver opens the page in the in-POS browser view; the customer picks UPI (and scans the QR code with their UPI app), or enters a card, or picks net-banking and signs into their bank's portal; Razorpay confirms; Oliver writes the WooCommerce order.
UPI is the killer feature
UPI is India's national bank-to-bank instant-payment rail. The customer scans a QR code with any UPI-enabled banking app (PhonePe, Google Pay India, Paytm, BHIM) and approves the transaction in seconds. From the Oliver POS, surfacing the UPI flow inside the in-POS browser view is the fastest payment experience in Indian retail.
Best fit for retailers who…
Pick Razorpay at the Oliver POS in any Indian retail context. UPI is consumer expectation; Razorpay covers UPI, cards, and EMI on one statement.
