Why Oliver POS 4.5.4 requires an app update for staff logins
Oliver POS 4.5.4 upgrades how staff PINs are verified to keep your store secure. Because of this security upgrade, you must update the Oliver POS app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android registers to the latest version.
If you run the new WooCommerce plugin with an outdated register app, your cashiers will not be able to log in with their PINs. Update your devices immediately to keep your shifts running smoothly.
A clearer setup for new stores
We updated the first-time setup experience in your WordPress admin to be more transparent about connecting your store.
When you visit the Billing or Oliver Pay screens for the first time, you will now see a Create your free Oliver POS account button.
Simply click this button to reveal the pricing plans or to start connecting Stripe.
If you have already set up Oliver POS, you will not see this button and nothing changes for you.
Cleaner, error-free receipt templates
We tightened up how receipt templates are saved in your settings. Oliver now automatically blocks unsupported fonts, weird spacing, or broken images from saving, which prevents printing glitches at the counter.
Your standard receipt setups will continue to work and print exactly as they did before.
