Como Sense on Oliver POS
Como Sense's omnichannel loyalty platform runs at the Oliver POS register through the WooCommerce integration — designed for restaurant and retail chains with multi-location operations.
How Como Sense works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce
Como Sense is the omnichannel loyalty + customer-engagement platform used by mid-market restaurant and retail chains globally. Its WooCommerce integration syncs orders and customers; Oliver POS opens the WooCommerce checkout in its in-POS browser view with the customer attached, so Como recognises the shopper.
What Como Sense does for WooCommerce customers
Como Sense handles points, tiers, gift cards, member benefits, and personalised campaigns, with strong omnichannel and multi-location support. Used by McDonald's franchisees, Cinnabon, and similar mid-market chains.
How Oliver POS opens it at the register
Oliver POS opens the WooCommerce checkout in its in-POS browser view with the customer attached. Como recognises the customer and surfaces balance, tier, and available rewards.
Earn-and-burn at the counter
Closing the in-store sale posts the order to Como; points credit, tier advances, and any active campaign applies.
Best fit for retailers who…
Como Sense on Oliver POS suits mid-market chain retailers and hospitality groups — multi-location specialty food, café chains, franchise retail — that want strong omnichannel loyalty alongside a WooCommerce-friendly POS.

Common questions about Como Sense on Oliver POS
Does Como's member-benefits engine enforce at the Oliver POS register?
Yes. Member benefits (e.g. specific discounts for gold-tier members) enforce on the WooCommerce cart in the in-POS browser view.
Will Como's gift-card balances work at the Oliver POS register?
Yes. Como gift-card redemption flows through the WooCommerce checkout the same way it would online; Oliver POS captures the gift-card code at the till.
Does Oliver POS have a partnership with Como Sense?
No. Oliver doesn't partner with Como Sense or any other loyalty platform. We support Como Sense because its WooCommerce plugin already handles points, balances, rewards, and redemptions for your online store — and Oliver opens that same plugin in an in-POS browser view at the register, with the WooCommerce customer already attached. Your Como Sense account, your members, and your rules stay between you and Como Sense.
Does Oliver charge extra to use Como Sense?
No. You pay Como Sense's standard published pricing directly to Como Sense. Oliver doesn't take a markup, doesn't add a per-member or per-redemption fee, and doesn't insert itself between the customer and the loyalty plugin.
How does Oliver POS open Como Sense at the register?
The same way it opens a WooCommerce payment gateway. Oliver POS embeds an in-POS browser view that loads the WooCommerce checkout (or the Como Sense customer view, where the plugin exposes one) with the shopper's WooCommerce customer ID already attached. Como Sense recognises the customer, surfaces their points balance, available rewards, store credit, or wallet, and the cashier can apply redemptions in the same flow as a normal sale.
Do in-store sales earn and redeem Como Sense points the same way online sales do?
Yes. Oliver POS writes every register sale into WooCommerce as a standard order with the customer attached. Como Sense's plugin runs its standard earn rules on that order (points per dollar, per product, tiered bonuses, etc.) and processes any redemption the cashier applied at the till. The shopper's Como Sense balance updates within seconds, the same way it would for an online checkout.
