EPS (e-payment standard) is Austria's bank-led online payment method, supported by every Austrian bank. Oliver POS surfaces EPS inside the in-POS browser view via Mollie, Stripe, Adyen, or any other EPS-capable gateway.

EPS is the Austrian banking sector's answer to iDEAL — a direct online bank-transfer method that lets a customer pay from any Austrian bank. It's widely supported across Austrian ecommerce and is the cheapest acceptance method on the Austrian market.
EPS at the Oliver POS register
Mollie, Stripe, Adyen, and other European gateways surface EPS. From the Oliver register, the cashier picks the gateway; Oliver opens the hosted page in the in-POS browser view; the customer picks EPS, selects their Austrian bank, signs into the bank's online portal; the transfer completes; Oliver writes the WooCommerce order.

Setup in 4 steps
- Install the Mollie / Stripe / Adyen — EPS-capable WooCommerce gateways on your WooCommerce site and enable it under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments
- Enter your EPS API credentials and finish the gateway's setup wizard
- Run a small online test order from the WooCommerce checkout to confirm the gateway is live
- From the Oliver POS register, tap the EPS method — Oliver opens the hosted EPS checkout in the in-POS browser view and writes the order back to WooCommerce when payment confirms

Does Oliver POS have a partnership with EPS?
No. Oliver doesn't partner with EPS or any other payment gateway. We support EPS because it ships a WooCommerce gateway plugin — Oliver opens the hosted checkout inside the in-POS browser view. Your account, your rates, and your support contract stay between you and EPS.
Does Oliver charge extra to use EPS?
No. You pay EPS's standard published rates directly to EPS. Oliver doesn't take a markup, doesn't insert itself into the money flow, and doesn't charge a per-transaction fee on top.
