Punchh on Oliver POS
Punchh's loyalty and CRM platform runs at the Oliver POS register through the WooCommerce integration — retail-and-restaurant loyalty engine designed for omnichannel.
How Punchh works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce
Punchh (now part of PAR Technology) is the enterprise loyalty + CRM + offers platform used by major restaurant and retail brands. Its WooCommerce integration runs through Punchh's API and partner connectors. Oliver POS opens the WooCommerce checkout in its in-POS browser view with the customer attached, so Punchh's offers and rewards engine applies at the till.
What Punchh does for WooCommerce customers
Punchh is enterprise loyalty + CRM + targeted offers, originally built for restaurant chains and now extended to retail. Personalised offers, segmentation, gamification, and campaign automation are its strongest features.
How Oliver POS opens it at the register
Oliver POS opens the WooCommerce checkout in its in-POS browser view with the customer attached. Punchh recognises the customer and exposes available offers and rewards via its widget.
Earn-and-burn at the counter
Closing the in-store sale posts the purchase to Punchh; the loyalty engine processes earn, redemptions, and any applicable offer.
Best fit for retailers who…
Punchh on Oliver POS suits enterprise retail and hospitality brands — typically chains with both online ordering and significant in-store traffic — looking for a sophisticated personalised-offers engine.

Common questions about Punchh on Oliver POS
Does Punchh's personalised offers engine fire on Oliver POS sales?
Yes. Personalised offers evaluate against the customer's lifetime activity, which includes Oliver POS sales arriving at Punchh through the WooCommerce connector.
Can Punchh fire SMS or push notifications on Oliver POS sales?
Yes. Punchh's SMS / push triggers fire on order events. Oliver POS sales create those events the same way online sales do.
Does Oliver POS have a partnership with Punchh?
No. Oliver doesn't partner with Punchh or any other loyalty platform. We support Punchh because its WooCommerce plugin already handles points, balances, rewards, and redemptions for your online store — and Oliver opens that same plugin in an in-POS browser view at the register, with the WooCommerce customer already attached. Your Punchh account, your members, and your rules stay between you and Punchh.
Does Oliver charge extra to use Punchh?
No. You pay Punchh's standard published pricing directly to Punchh. Oliver doesn't take a markup, doesn't add a per-member or per-redemption fee, and doesn't insert itself between the customer and the loyalty plugin.
How does Oliver POS open Punchh at the register?
The same way it opens a WooCommerce payment gateway. Oliver POS embeds an in-POS browser view that loads the WooCommerce checkout (or the Punchh customer view, where the plugin exposes one) with the shopper's WooCommerce customer ID already attached. Punchh recognises the customer, surfaces their points balance, available rewards, store credit, or wallet, and the cashier can apply redemptions in the same flow as a normal sale.
Will the cashier see the customer's Punchh balance and points at the register?
Yes. Oliver POS attaches the WooCommerce customer to the in-POS browser session (by email lookup, phone, or a fresh customer card), so when Punchh's WooCommerce plugin loads in the browser view it already knows who the shopper is. The same balances, tiers, and rewards the customer sees on the website's account page are visible to the cashier at the till — no parallel POS-only loyalty database, no manual ID lookup.
Do in-store sales earn and redeem Punchh points the same way online sales do?
Yes. Oliver POS writes every register sale into WooCommerce as a standard order with the customer attached. Punchh's plugin runs its standard earn rules on that order (points per dollar, per product, tiered bonuses, etc.) and processes any redemption the cashier applied at the till. The shopper's Punchh balance updates within seconds, the same way it would for an online checkout.
