Affirm for WooCommerce POS
Affirm BNPL and longer-term financing at the Oliver POS for WooCommerce.
Powered through the Affirm Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin — install it on WordPress, configure under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, and Oliver picks it up at the register automatically.
How Affirm works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce
Affirm offers Pay in 4 plus longer-term financing (3, 6, 12 months) for higher-ticket purchases. Oliver POS opens the Affirm hosted decision page inside the in-POS browser view via the Affirm WooCommerce plugin.
Affirm vs Afterpay vs Klarna — what's different
All three offer Pay-in-4. Affirm's differentiator is longer-term financing — 3, 6, or 12 months — for higher-ticket purchases. Where Afterpay caps at small fashion-style baskets, Affirm regularly finances $1,500-$5,000 purchases (mattresses, bikes, audio equipment, furniture).
Affirm in the Oliver POS browser view
The Affirm WooCommerce plugin opens the Affirm hosted decision page. From the Oliver register, the cashier picks Affirm; Oliver opens the page in the in-POS browser view; the customer enters their phone, receives an OTP, picks their financing term, and Affirm approves on the spot. The merchant gets paid in full; the customer pays Affirm on the schedule they chose.
Why retailers in furniture, bikes, and electronics love Affirm
For products in the $500-$5,000 range, BNPL/financing turns "I'll come back when I get paid" into "I'll take it today." The retailer's conversion rate on high-ticket items improves measurably and average order value tends to climb (customers who finance often buy slightly nicer versions of the thing they came for).
Best fit for retailers who…
Pick Affirm at the Oliver POS if you sell US-market goods in the $500+ range, particularly furniture, mattresses, bikes, electronics, jewellery, or specialty equipment. The merchant fee is steep (3-6%) but pays for itself in conversion lift.
