Powered through the Amazon Pay for WooCommerce plugin — install it on WordPress, configure under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, and Oliver picks it up at the register automatically.

How Amazon Pay works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce

Amazon Pay lets customers pay with the card, address, and identity already saved in their Amazon account. Oliver POS opens the Amazon Pay redirect inside the in-POS browser view so the customer can authenticate with their Amazon credentials at the counter.

Amazon Pay is Amazon's wallet for non-Amazon stores

Amazon Pay lets a customer pay on a merchant site using the cards and addresses already saved in their Amazon account. The merchant never sees the card number — Amazon does. For ecommerce, this saves the customer typing card details into a new site; at the Oliver POS counter, it saves the customer pulling out their wallet at all.

Amazon Pay at the Oliver POS register

The cashier picks Amazon Pay on the Oliver register; Oliver opens the Amazon login page inside the in-POS browser view; the customer logs into their Amazon account (with their phone's saved password or biometric) and approves the charge. Amazon processes the card on file and Oliver records the WooCommerce order.

Who actually uses this at a counter?

A small but growing slice of customers — especially in Germany and the UK where Amazon Pay has strong consumer adoption — prefer to pay with their Amazon login over typing their card. It also works particularly well as a fallback when a customer has forgotten their wallet but remembers their Amazon password.

Best fit for retailers who…

Enable Amazon Pay at the Oliver POS if you already accept it online (especially in Germany or the UK), if you serve a customer base that's Amazon-heavy, or if you want one more frictionless option for customers who've forgotten their physical wallet.
