Stripe Link for WooCommerce POS
Stripe Link one-tap checkout, surfaced inside the Oliver POS browser view.
Powered through the Stripe Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin — install it on WordPress, configure under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, and Oliver picks it up at the register automatically.
How Stripe Link works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce
Stripe Link saves a customer's card and email across every Stripe-powered checkout, online and in-store. Oliver POS opens the Link-enabled Stripe Checkout in the in-POS browser view; returning customers tap once to pay.
What Stripe Link is
Link is Stripe's consumer wallet — sort of like Apple Pay but unified across every Stripe-powered site. When a customer pays on a Stripe-powered checkout with their email + card once, that combination is saved to Link; on the next Stripe checkout anywhere, they just enter their email and an OTP, and Link auto-fills the card.
Why Link at the counter is interesting
At the Oliver POS register, when the customer is opening Stripe Checkout in the in-POS browser view, they get the same Link experience. Type the email, type the OTP, done. For repeat customers — particularly a regular at a café or specialty shop — this is faster than handing over a card.
Same Stripe Checkout, just with Link enabled
Stripe Link is not a separate gateway. It's a feature of Stripe Checkout (and the Payment Element). The Oliver POS integration is therefore the same as Stripe Checkout — but if your Stripe dashboard has Link toggled on, the in-POS browser view shows the Link option to every customer who recognises it.
Best fit for retailers who…
Use Link at the Oliver POS if you already use Stripe Checkout, want to remove friction for returning customers, and serve a customer base that's likely to have Link saved from their other Stripe purchases (anywhere from DoorDash to Substack).

Common questions about Stripe Link on Oliver POS
Does Oliver POS have a partnership with Stripe Link?
No. Oliver doesn't partner with Stripe Link or any other payment gateway. We support Stripe Link because it ships a WooCommerce gateway plugin — Oliver opens the hosted checkout inside the in-POS browser view. Your account, your rates, and your support contract stay between you and Stripe Link.
Does Oliver charge extra to use Stripe Link?
No. You pay Stripe Link's standard published rates directly to Stripe Link. Oliver doesn't take a markup, doesn't insert itself into the money flow, and doesn't charge a per-transaction fee on top.
