How Bambora (Worldline) works with Oliver POS for WooCommerce

Bambora is a Worldline-owned Nordic and European acquirer particularly strong in Sweden. Oliver POS opens the Bambora-hosted checkout inside the in-POS browser view via the Bambora WooCommerce plugin.

Bambora and the Worldline group

Bambora was founded in Sweden, expanded across the Nordics and into Australia, and was acquired by Worldline in 2017. It's a full-stack acquirer covering cards, Swish, MobilePay, and the wallets — particularly strong with mid-market Swedish and Nordic retailers.

Bambora in the Oliver POS browser view

The Bambora WooCommerce plugin exposes Bambora's Checkout product — a hosted page that the merchant's customer is redirected to. Oliver POS opens that hosted page in the in-POS browser view at the register. The customer picks card/Swish/MobilePay, Bambora processes, and Oliver writes the WooCommerce order.

Australia and APAC presence

Bambora also operates in Australia and parts of APAC, which makes it an option for retailers operating in both Sweden and Australia — same merchant relationship across two regions.

Best fit for retailers who…

Pick Bambora at the Oliver POS if you have an existing Bambora/Worldline merchant relationship in the Nordics or Australia, or if you want a single acquirer covering Sweden + Australia.
